Toe Guard Set with Glue

A rubber toe guard with adhesive included. The toe is where most bats die — this is the cheapest insurance you can buy for one.

Why the toe matters

The toe takes the worst of it: yorkers, tapping on hard ground, and moisture soaking up from damp outfields. Willow swells when it takes on water and splits as it dries, which is why toe damage so often appears as a crack running up from the bottom of the blade. A guard seals the end grain and absorbs the impact that would otherwise go straight into the willow.

What's included

Toe guard and adhesive. Fitting is straightforward — the toe needs to be clean, dry and lightly sanded flat, then the guard bonded on and trimmed once set.

Fitted for you

Our Houston workshop fits a toe guard as standard with Pro Full Knocking, and can fit one to a bat already in play as part of repair or refurbishing.

Some bats arrive with a toe guard already fitted from the factory — several GM models include ToeTek as standard. Check the bat's specification before ordering a spare.

Pair with an anti-scuff sheet to protect the face as well as the toe.
