Who this bat suits

The low swell position sits mass toward the toe, making this a front-foot player's bat — it rewards driving and playing straight rather than accumulating. The large toe depth and PowerArc bow are built for striking the ball rather than nudging it around.

Grade 2 willow shows a little more natural colour variation and slightly less uniform grain than Grade 1. That is appearance, not performance, and it is why this sits at a genuinely accessible price for a made-in-England bat. The 2lb 9oz to 2lb 12oz range means pick-up varies between individual bats — tell us your preference and we will select accordingly.

Knocking-in

The GM NOW! finish means no oiling is required. Knocking-in still is. New English willow is soft, and the fibres in the face must be compressed gradually before the bat faces a hard ball — typically six to eight hours across several sessions. Skipping it is the most common reason a bat cracks in its first season, and it is not covered by warranty.

Our Houston workshop will do it before dispatch. Add Pro Full Knocking, 4–6 day turnaround. The ToeTek toe guard is already fitted.
