Who this bat suits

A 66mm swell with 40mm edges is a large profile, and the mid swell keeps it playable all round the ground rather than specialised to front or back foot. At 2lb 10oz it is a substantial bat that wants a strong player behind it. This is a genuine players-grade instrument — the willow is selected for grain structure and individually tested, and availability is limited by what the willow allows. If you are buying at this level you already know how you play; this rewards it.

Knocking-in

The GM NOW! finish means this bat does not require oiling. It still requires knocking-in. Grade 1 willow is the softest and most responsive on the market, which is exactly why it needs careful preparation — the fibres must be compressed gradually before the bat faces a hard ball, and on a bat of this value it is not worth rushing.
