Who this bat suits

The low sweet spot and shorter blade make this a front-foot player's bat. If you score most of your runs driving and playing straight, a low middle puts the mass where you actually make contact. The longer handle gives taller players room and helps generate leverage through the shot. Less suited to a batter who plays predominantly off the back foot, where a mid or mid-high middle serves better.

Knocking-in

This bat ships with Kookaburra's Pre-Prepared (KPP) finish, so much of the initial fibre compression is already done at the factory. It is not, however, fully match-ready. A shorter additional knocking-in session — particularly on the edges and toe, where bats fail first — will meaningfully extend its life.
